North Warwickshire Borough Council Elections 2011 Update
Do you think you might have what it takes to be a Councillor? Not sure and want to know more? Then read on.
May 2011 sees elections to North Warwickshire Borough Council take place. In recent years we have greatly increased the number of Conservative Councillors at North Warwickshire Borough Council and for the last 4 years have been in charge of the Council.
We are now looking for more people to join us a stand for election next May so if you think you would like to have a go - or would like to find out more please let us know.
What' involved ? How do I know if I'd be suitable?
Our Councillors come from all backgrounds and bring a different mix of experiences to the role. So if you're intersted in helping people with problems or want to help make the area where you live a better, greener, safer place to live and work we'd be interested to hear from you. If elected, you'd be expected to attend Council meetings, perhaps serve on a committee and conduct regular surgeries where you can meet residents and help them.
A couple of conditions - you have to live or work in the North Warwickshire Borogh Council area to be able to stand for election.
Were currently looking for people who would be willing to stand for election in the following areas - Baddesley, Wood End and Hurley, Kingsbury, Newton Regis and Austrey and Coleshill North.
So if you think you might br able to help or want to know more please contact Gerald Ingram at geraldgingram@yahoo.co.uk
