Bedworth Councillor Backs Help For Heroes Charity Fete
Bedworth Heath's Conservative Councillor, Damon Brown, is backing an Annual Fete at a retirement complex in his Ward. Arthur Alford House, Dark Lane, Bedworth holds its Annual Fete this Saturday.
The fete, which starts at 2:00pm helps raise money for charity as well as improve links between the residents and the local community. The fete features a variety of stalls and local PCSO's will be taking to the stocks and facing wet sponges to raise more money for good causes.
This year residents have been raising money for a variety of charities including Help for Heroes. Residents will present a cheque the money they have raised for the charity to relatives of Sgt Valentine, the Bedworth Fusilier who was killed in action a year ago.
Spaking about the fete Cllr Brown said,
"This is a shameless plug for this event. Please come along and support the fete. Have a good time and raise money for good causes as well."
