Bedworth Heath Councillor, Damon Brown, welcomes new fence that aims to help cut crime and anti-social behaviour.

New fencing has been erected to help secure homes and cut crime and anti-social behaviour in the Topps Heath and Cashmore Road area of Bedworth Heath. The new, metal fence and gate backed by wooden close boarded fencing has been erected in an alley that links Topps Heath and Cashmore Road. The fencing helps eliminate a blind spot that was a magnet for vandalism in the area. It was erected after the previous fencing was burnt down when a stolen motor bike was set on fire in the alley.

The final part of a one thousand pound donation from the new Bedworth Tesco store has now been distributed, when local MP Dan Byles handed over a cheque for £400 to some of the youngest players at Bedworth United Football Club.

Residents of Bedworth are still finding their way around a new £27m Tesco that was opened before Christmas by the town’s MP, Dan Byles. While some shoppers may be aware that the investment has created 150 new jobs and safeguarded 180 or so existing jobs, they may not be aware of an additional donation by Tesco to mark their commitment to the town.

Our Christmas Party, held jointly with Nuneaton Conservative Association has been hailed as a great success.

Around 100 people, including guests from Coventry and Tamworth Conservative Associations, gathered with members of North Warwickshire Conservatives and Nuneaton Conservatives at Weston Hall Hotel at Bulkington to enjoy festive food and drinks, speeches, raffle before dancing the evening away.

Over 100 delegates gathered at the Grimstock Hotel in Coleshill recently for the annual West Midlands Conservative MEPs regional Conference. It was a chance to discuss the work that the MEPs are doing for the West Midlands and debate other key issues. A number of guest speakers were invited to take part in the discussion including Nuneaton MP Marcus Jones who spoke about the impact of EU regulation on local authorities, good and bad,

Local Councillors Honoured To Lay Wreaths On Behalf Of Dan Byles MP

Local Councillors in Atherstone, Bedworth and Coleshill have stepped in to represent MP Dan Byles at Armistice and Remembrance Day cermonies across North Warwickshire and Bedworth.

Dan Byles, the MP for North Warwickshire & Bedworth and a former
soldier, was unable to attend the Armistice Parade in Bedworth due to
the imminent birth of his and his wife's first child.
